About Us |
|
John P. Lawless has been involved with motorcycles since the mid 1980’s. During that time, he has written about, photographed, restored and raced motorcycles both old and new. John drafted his optical business suppliers as sponsors to form Team 20/20 Racing in the 1990’s and fielded Amateurs, Experts and finally AMA Pro Roadracing Series 600 and 750 Class efforts with Kawasaki and Suzuki. Team 20/20 sponsored riders scored many wins and class championships. Riders included Mike Ciccotto, Keith Martin, David Rose, Chuck Neighoff, Eric Kropp, Bill Martin, Tom Grant, Dave Back, Ben Walters, John Jacobi and the late Randy Renfrow in the now defunct AMA 125 class. John continues to travel and race as well as consult with sellers and buyers of specialty machines. John has been a motorcycle judge since 2007 at the Radnor Concours d’Elegance in Malvern, PA. He and Mr. Harlan Hadley are co-chief judges at this years event. In 2003, John created the annual Chadds Ford Classic Motorcycle Auction. Please join John and respected auctioneer Bill Bunch at the 8th Annual Chadds Ford Classic Motorcycle Auction on April 17-18, 2010. This auction always offers a fine mix of American, British, Italian, German Japanese and other motorcycles from around the world to both local buyers and bidders from around the country. A whole crew of dedicated motorcycle event only staff make this auction happen each year.
