Left: On location at the Radnor Hunt Concours d’ Elegance on Sept 15, 2008. Featured marque this year was BSA with a strong showing of racing motorcycles and sidecars from various manufacturers. Thousands attended the annual show which featured 100 National concours standard automobiles and 35 motorcycles in Malvern, PA.

It arrived last summer from out west. 15 boxes and a name, “the Silver Bullet”. “It” is a 1961 500cc Manx Norton that has a long west coast AFM racing history . First owned by John McLaughlin and then Tony Murphy, the bike was also raced by Ron Grant and Don Vesco. The bike is nearing completion and will be returned to the race circuit this spring. |
